CEKOL GS-200 Finish Coat, 20KG

PROPERTIES:

CEKOL GS200 is a dry mixture of synthetic gypsum, mineral fillers and a wide range of additives: enriching, modifying, set-retarding and providing excellent adhesion to the substrate. GS-200 is an ecological, non-toxic and easy to use product. Optimum strength parameters make CEKOL SG-200 easily processable.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:
The mortar provides excellent adhesion to concrete, bricks, aerated concrete, gypsum boards and blocks, plasterboards. The surface should be clean, tight, sound and free from grease. Steel elements should be protected from corrosion. Paint, loose grains of sand and plaster, as well as all layers unbound to the substrate must be removed. Highly absorbent substrates should be primed with CEKOL GS-82 or CEKOL DL-80 priming emulsion.

EXECUTION:
Pour the content of the packaging into a measured amount of water and mix thoroughly to obtain a uniform, dense mixture. Use approximately 0.40 litres of water per 1 kg of dry powder. The mortar is ready to use directly after mixing and maintains its properties for approximately 60 minutes. Apply the mortar to the prepared substrate with a smooth layer of 1 to 5 mm. Flatten the applied layer with a trowel (stainless steel or plastic). After initial hardening of the mixture the surface is suitable for grinding. The surface can be painted when the mixture is completely hardened and dry.
