CEKOL DL-80 Special Deep Penetrating Primer 1L is a professional water-soluble primer designed for preparing absorbent mineral surfaces before further finishing works. The primer penetrates deep into the substrate, strengthening weak and porous surfaces while reducing and evening out absorbency. This improves the adhesion, durability and uniform appearance of subsequently applied materials such as fillers, mortars, self-levelling compounds and tile adhesives. CEKOL DL-80 is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications and can be used on a wide range of mineral substrates including plaster, concrete, brick and gypsum-based surfaces.

Application: The substrate should be clean, dry and free from dust, loose particles, grease and other materials that may reduce adhesion. Apply CEKOL DL-80 using a brush, roller or spray equipment. For highly absorbent surfaces, a second coat may be applied after the first layer has dried. Further works can begin once the primed surface is completely dry.
