The Aluminum Starting Edge, also known as a Starter Track, Base Profile or Starter Rail, is an essential component of External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems (ETICS).
Installed at the base of the façade, it provides a perfectly straight and level starting point for the first row of EPS insulation boards. The profile also protects the lower edge of the insulation against mechanical damage and helps direct rainwater away from the wall.
Manufactured from durable aluminum, the starter profile is corrosion-resistant and designed for long-term performance in external applications.
