Tile adhesives and mortars covers what sticks tiles, stone and brick slips to a wall or floor, plus the grouts that finish them. Self levelling compounds turn a bumpy screed into a floor you can tile or lay vinyl on, in depths from 3mm up to 80mm. The right product depends on how deep you need to go, which the compound versus screed guide sets out.
Primers are the part people skip and then regret. A dusty or highly absorbent surface pulls the water out of adhesive and plaster before either can cure properly.
